i miss the weekend.  i miss the hearts.  those hearts.  i miss the laughing.  i miss the feeling of my skin fitting exactly right.  i miss the perfectness of being around dear friends and simply enjoying everything there is about this small little life we’ve been given.  and i’ve realized that i don’t have this kind of perfect friendship here in this sprawling city of mine.  at least to the same degree.  the kind where you feel completely at home with yourself, with the people around you, and everything is just.. right.  but maybe having this in spurts is better.  maybe it makes me appreciate it more deeply.  either way, it is glorious and i love it.

in other news i’m pretty sure i became a real smoker this weekend.  i bought my first pack of real cigarettes (not cloves).  it’s all over now.  but i’m not too mad about this.  i also have some great photos to get developed.  i can’t wait to see them.  there’s something in the stillness of remembering that a photo can bring.. slays me every time.  also, i was really reminded this weekend how hilarious timmy is.  i’m talking to the point of just giving up any and all comedic attempts when in his presence.  i love it.  i love him.  anyway, here’s a song that encompasses my day today.  time for a smoke break.
