i made a fort for our latest artsignals challenge.  i’ve decided i should do this at least once a week so i can feel like a kid again.   

ok.  
grab my legs and i’ll grab my arms.  
and the dissonance within us will fall from our sides.  
like wild wolves we’ll kidnap the sandy shore,
paws to the ground, ears to the sky.  
gathering sticks.  stacking words.  
shove the green earth beneath your eyes.  
these homes we’re building, skin and bones.
ok.
lift your heart up and i’ll crawl beneath it.
the corners of our rooms burning fires.
fingers pressing on our perspectives and we,
with furs on our shoulders
swallowing everything the whole world has to give us.
give me my legs, i must run now.
hard.
fast.
forever.
