  3. i’m playing a daytrotter session this sunday, march 4th!! you can tune in to the live session at 5pm EST for just $3 HERE .  i’ll also be playing a couple new unreleased tunes! it would be a huge understatement to say i am excited about this.. i am.. just so very happy.  haha.  it’s a funny story how this all came about actually.  i had a dream one night, a literal dream while i was sleeping, that i played an amazing daytrotter session as one of my stops on a tour.  it was a perfect dream really, and when i woke up i was so excited about the whole thing that i tweeted about it and tagged daytrotter in it. i didn’t think anything else of it the rest of the day really, until around dinner time when i received an email from sean, of daytrotter, asking me if i’d like to come in for a session.  ha!   it just goes to show that dreams really do come true!!  make them happen y’all. :D

  4. GAYNGS

    well, it’s official.  i’ve just become aware of GAYNGS (thanks to mister dylan of persona la ave) and i am completely and utterly infatuated.  it’s not enough to love justin vernon for his brilliance in bon iver, or volcano choir, or even his self proclaimed work as a solo artist, but now to love him for being a part of the power band which includes members of bon iver, megafaun, dosh, solid gold, the rosebuds and leisure birds.. it’s almost too much for my already bursting heart to handle.  

    daytrotter did a wonderful session with these guys, so go check it out.  and then listen to these tracks to have your ears blessed:
