1. we melted each other up
    just like we used to
    we used to burn so loudly
    piles of memories pulsing at our limbs
    things we never got to finish,
    or even start
    our bones crushing from the lives we never led
    skin holding us loosely together
    as we wrap our arms around that buried desire
    those words we never dare say aloud
    and yet do
    not knowing if it’s the beginning
    or the end
    or just.. is
